Whenever I try to think of this you know what the most ridiculous sticking point for me is?? Trying to think up a name for a new party that doesn’t suck. I occasionally wonder if one of the problems is that the good names are all taken.
Though I’ve also been thinking someone really needs to start the Women’s Rights party with everything that’s been going on. Just plain, “We’re for reproductive rights, equal wages, protection from institutionalized abuse, medical privacy, and maybe even being listened to respectfully on TV while disagreeing even though that’s asking for a lot.” Because seriously, the only people who seem to be speaking loudly on those issues are the ones shouting against that. Maybe not enough to get a party to victory but seriously, someone should be saying that instead of the Democrats sort of assuming people know they may feel that way or at least the other way less. Bleh :p. Not sure less cuts it.
…I think I just co-opted this writing post into politics. ack. Sorry. Off Topic label, where are you?
